- Jacob Goldowitz, Ph.D. Candidate at the University of British Columbia, for "Blood, Body, and Soul in Carolingian Medicine (ca. 800-900 C.E.)." $250 (USD) to attend the 2019 Conference of the Canadian Society of Medievalists at McGill University, Canada.
- Sarah-Nelle Jackson, Ph.D. Candidate at the University of British Columbia, for "Subjects of Artifice: Queenly and Arboreal Agencies in Sir Orfeo." $250 (USD) to attend the 2019 International Medieval Congress at the University of Leeds, England.
