Daniel Helbert, William Green, and Noëlle Phillips have together organized and edited a festschrift for our doctoral advisor, Siân Echard. As a scholar, Siân has made key contributions to a wide variety of fields, and as a teacher and a mentor, she has provided invaluable guidance, compassion, wisdom, and inspiration. This festschrift is not in honour of her retirement, which we hope is still in the distance; rather, it's in honour of her long legacy in medieval studies and the impact she is continuing to have.
Titled Textual Traditions and Medieval Literary Culture, the volume will come out later this year with the Boydell. The press is offering the volume for a discount of £32.50 plus postage (off the regular publication price of £65.00/US$95.00) and will print your name in the Tabula Gratulatoria in the book.
